How to Move On After Being Hurt





  One thing is certain for everyone chances are if you've been in a relationship you have been hurt, you may also find that it is hard to move on. You want to move on and start a new relationship but you're not quite sure where to start. If so, here are a few steps you can take.

  1. Forgiveness. It's important you forgive yourself and others. The biggest obstacle that can hinder you from moving forward is holding onto anger and resentment towards yourself and your ex. This can really damage your future relationships. In order to prevent ruining your next relationship or entering a new relationship with baggage it is very important that you forgive yourself and forgive others. You will be miles ahead by doing this. Many people go their entire life holding on to anger and resentment and not forgiving. Not knowing they are hurting themselves by holding on the anger. It keeps you stuck where you are and unable to enjoy happiness and a happy life.

  2. Never get a rebound man. I know they say that the best way to get over someone is to get a new man, but I advise you not to do this. Jumping from relationship to relationship is not healthy. You never get a chance to take time for yourself and get over your previous partner. You end up taking your problems from your previous relationship into the next one. It doesn't matter how good it feels at the time to do this, don't do it. You will end up compounding the problems and making it worse than what it started out to be.

  Learn your lesson. Every relationship brings life lessons. Take time to figure out the lessons you needed to learn or the lessons you learned in relationship. use the lessons to make you stronger and better. The reason that we sometimes seem to replay the same situations over and over again is because we haven't learned the lesson or even paid attention to what the lesson was about or what was to be learned. We continue to make the same mistakes and wonder why our love life is a certain way.

  Give yourself permission to move on. It's easy to get involved with the person and perfectly fine to do so. Once you realize the lessons, give your self permission to move and move forward. It is a very liberating experience.
